AIR DUCT REPAIRS & SANITIZATION
AIR DUCT REPAIRS
You may have a poorly designed ductwork or it may be failing due
to age and needs replacing. Our team are capable of designing and
replacing or repairing your whole air duct layout to ensure you're
getting the maximum efficiency from your A/C system.

AIR DUCT SANITIZATION
Believe it or not, but your air ducts do in fact get dirty. Over time,
dust can build up on the inside and outside the air ducts that can
lower the efficiency of its cooling capacity. Our team specialize in duct
cleaning/sanitization to ensure that you are maximizing the cooling efficiency.

Other than dust, often times your air ducts can either start showing signs of Mold growth or already have Mold growing throughout your ducts. In some cases this can be cleaned through our remediation process or the ducts will have to be replaced to ensure the Mold is neutralized.
MOLD REMEDIATION
WHAT IS MOLD?
Mold is a fungus that can grow indoors as well as outdoors, typically in
areas that are damp or have an elevation in humidity. Mold can be very
hazardous once left to grow and mature into a silent danger or in some
cases, toxic. It can cause individuals to suffer from breathing issues and
even inflammation in the body.

WHERE DOES MOLD GREW IN YOUR A/C SYSTEM?
Mold can begin to grow throughout your A/C System if regular
maintenance is not carried out. ECO Air Conditioning ensures to always
check for mold growth in the most commonly known areas of its growth.
Once there's a damp area, mold may be there so we check every sign of
dampness or high elevation in humidity to ensure your system is clear.

HOW DO WE GET RID OF IT?
Once mold is discovered in your system, we able to take two approaches:

-
If the mold growth isn't too far into maturity, we can offer the sanitization of the affected components
-
If the mold growth is out of control then it will need to be removed entirely and we will have to replace the mold damaged components
foster 40-25: Air DUCT Coating
CLEAN, KILL & COAT
ECO Air Conditioning has adopted the Foster® "Clean-Kill-Coat"
approach for Mold Remediation defence against mold growth in
your Air Ducts.

CLEAN
-
First, we remove any water-damaged and mold-contaminated air ducts that cannot
be salvaged.
-
Then, we ensure that all materials to be left in place are dry by exposing them to
circulated dry air.
-
Proceed with another thorough cleaning and removal of all remaining contaminants.
KILL
-
Disinfectants and Cleaners are then used in the surrounding area that previously had
been mold-contaminated to ensure no mold molecules are left.

COAT
-
Our final step is to then coat your air ducts with Foster® 40-25 which is a Full Defense® EPA registered coating that kills residual mold and mildew.
-
Ultimately, the Foster® 40-25 then protects your air ducts from mold re-growth.
